In order to ensure the stability and safety of pipeline in thermal state and reduce the stress caused by thermal expansion and contraction of pipeline, fixed brackets and compensation devices should be installed on the pipeline of compensator manufacturer every certain distance. The sleeve compensator is only used in the heat pipe network under special circumstances, which is characterized by simple installation, less land occupation, strong compensation ability and low fluid resistance.
Following the pipeline equipment staff, let's take a look at the common types and advantages and disadvantages of sleeve compensators.
1. General sleeve compensator
The common sleeve compensator uses oil-immersed asbestos packing as filler, and adds many rings in the filling box in turn. When the pipeline expands, the core tube moves out of the shell, the filler realizes the sealing between the two, and the filler between the end ring and the pressing blue is pressed by bolts. The disadvantage of this kind of compensator is that it is easy to leak and fillers need to be replaced frequently because of the heavy workload of maintenance and repair and the large thrust of the fixing bracket.
2. Flexible Sealed Packing Sleeve Compensator
Flexible sealed packing sleeve compensator is to change the pressure blue of ordinary sleeve compensator to the outer end ring, which is fixed with the inner end ring, inner core tube and shell to form a packing box. Flexible sealing fillers were injected between the two groups of oil-soaked asbestos roots to compress the two groups of roots. The packing arrangement is similar to that of ordinary sleeve, but it can maintain and inject flexible sealing filler in operation. Because of reliable sealing and simple leak repair, the service life of the sleeve compensator is longer than that of the common sleeve compensator. The compensator has the advantages of small size and light weight.
3. Elastic sleeve compensator
Elastic sleeve compensator is under the action of spring, so that the sealing filler is always in the state of being pressed, so that the medium in the pipe can not leak. The elastic sleeve compensator adopts corrosion-resistant stainless steel sleeve. Because the inner wall is smooth and the filler length is short, the axial force is very small, which reduces the filler loss, avoids excessive overhaul workload and prolongs the service life.
4. Self-guided injectable expansion compensator
The self-guided injectable depth compensator is mainly composed of main body, expansion body, new injection sealing material, orientated East China bearing and injection head. It mainly relies on the expansion body to move axially in the guide sliding bearing and sealant to compensate the thermal expansion and cold contraction of the pipeline. It uses pressure-injection sealing technology to achieve long-term reliable sealing and maintenance with temperature pressure belt (i.e. non-stop production). The guide sliding bearings at both ends can withstand the lateral force of the pipeline, and control the expansion body without radial deviation, so as to achieve long-term safe operation.
