The single hinge expansion joint is composed of an end pipe, a bellows, a pin shaft, a hinge plate and a vertical plate. It is an expansion joint that absorbs only one angular displacement in a plane and can withstand pressure and thrust. When absorbing displacement, two or three single hinge expansion joints should be combined to compensate the displacement of the bending section by angular deflection. The expansion joints have the ability to withstand pressure and thrust.

III. Notices for Installation and Use

1. The small tie rod on the expansion joint is used for installation and transportation adjustment, and can not be used as load-bearing parts. After the installation of the product on the pipeline, the small tie rod must be removed before it can be put into operation.

2. When the angle deformation of expansion joint is large or the system pressure is high, the recommended product should be "cold-tightened" during installation, generally 50% or 100% cold-tightened. The advantage of cold-tightening is mainly to improve the working stability of expansion joint and pipeline.

3. Attention should be paid to the rotational plane of expansion joint hinges during installation, which must be consistent with the displacement plane.
