The expansion joint has a working bellows at both ends, and a Balanced Bellows in the middle. The expansion joint bears the internal pressure thrust through the force-bearing member (large tie rod or lining cylinder), so the pipe system only needs the intermediate fixing bracket. Such expansion joints can only absorb axial displacement.

III. Notices for Installation and Use

1. This kind of expansion joint is generally used in overhead straight pipeline and installed horizontally.

2. After the expansion joint is installed on site, all the small tie rods must be removed.

3. In order to reduce the elastic reaction of the expansion joint to the support, the expansion joint can be pre-tensioned or pre-pressed before installation (which can be realized by pre-tensioned adjusting rod).
