Water hammer of spherical compensator has great influence on compensator. Water hammer exists in both overhead and underground trenches or directly buried pipelines. It is suggested that the compensator should be moved away from the elbow and the fixed bracket at the upside down position to the fixed bracket at the other side. In this way, the damage caused by water hammer to the compensator can be greatly reduced even though there is a small amount of water accumulated in the pipeline, but the position of action is far away from the compensator. In addition, the selection of external pressure compensator and the improvement of diversion sleeve can also play a certain role in preventing water hammer.




The impact of site changes on compensators:




Although the original design of thermal pipeline network is sometimes very good, but because of the obstacles often encountered after construction, the actual situation on site and design often differ greatly, so a large number of actual design changes have to be made. As long as the natural compensation pipeline is properly handled, it will not have a great impact on the pipeline of axial compensator. Many construction units are not fully familiar with this, and some of them are fixed. After changing the direction of the pipeline, the support was changed from not bearing pressure thrust to bearing pressure thrust or producing large bending distance. The structural form of the support changed greatly, and the fixed support was easily pushed down due to improper disposal, resulting in accidents. Because the specialization degree of the construction unit is generally low, it mainly depends on the design unit to control the overall arrangement of the construction heat network. In the case of large pipeline changes, special attention should be paid to whether the stress form of the pipeline conforms to the basic principle of compensator layout. Through reasonable segmentation, the pipeline is guaranteed to be straight, the inflection point is controlled, and the bending moment acting on the fixed support and the guiding support is reduced. Lateral thrust to ensure the safety and rationality of piping system. This is the most important for designers. In addition to constantly accumulating experience, we must form a clear design idea in order to improve the level of design compensator piping.
