The pressure-balanced expansion joint of elbow is composed of working bellows and balanced bellows, as well as large drawbar and tee. There are two working bellows in the front (conveyor end) of the expansion joint and a Balanced Bellows in the back (blind end). The working bellows absorb the lateral displacement from the elbow section and the Balanced Bellows absorb the axial displacement from the straight section. The spherical nut rotates around the spherical washer when the lateral displacement of the elbow section occurs, and the tie rod bears internal pressure thrust. Therefore, the expansion joint is often used at the outlets of pumps, tanks, compressors and steam turbines to reduce the force on the above equipment.

III. Notices for Installation and Use

1. In order to reduce the elastic reaction, the products have been pre-stretched by 50%, so it is unnecessary to pre-stretch them when they are installed.

2. When installing, pay attention to the drainage outlet must be downward.

3. After installation on site, the small tie rod must be removed.
